AIR SWEPT BALL MILL WORKING PRINCIPLE
The air swept ball mill mainly consists of the main bearing, ball mill cylinder, feeding system, discharge device, transmission device, high-voltage start apparatus, and lubrication system.
The feeding device first feeds raw materials into the inlet chute of the ball mill. Then raw materials enter the drying chamber through a quill shaft, dried by the hot air with a temperature of about 300 ℃. After drying, they continue to get into a grinding chamber that contains a certain number of grinding mediums. Due to the continual rotation of the cylinder, the grinding mediums are brought to a certain height by the liner installed on the cylinder. When they fall, they use the impact energy and friction force to complete the grinding process on raw materials. While the raw material is pulverized, the ground fine powder is sucked out of the mill together with the used hot air by a specially designed fan through the discharge device. After that, they pass through a separator to separate substandard coarse powder and send it back to the ball mill for regrinding.
